New Year’s Project at Jeevadhaan

In keeping with the long-standing tradition of the Ladies club at Christmas, the committee members visited Jeevadhaan a home for Ladies and children affected by the deadly disease AIDS

The children entertained us with one dance after another and one little angel stole our hearts

Mrs Wilma pais made the enquiries with the sister Superior and the committee decided that we would donate personal items which they needed on a daily basis. Shampoo, powder, toothpaste, soap, soap bar and soap powder were packaged and presented to each and every inmate.

A big thank you to the purchase committee and those who helped in packing the gifts.

Mrs Rita Saldanha spoke to the proprietor of A R D’Souza and a free hand towel was donated by them.

Chocolates and a fruit bar were presented to the children.

The club sponsored a live Dosa counter as refreshments. Rita Saldanha organized a free milk drink by Nandini.

All in all it was a wonderful evening spent with the less fortunate no fault of theirs. The Entire committee was in awe of the nuns and the loving care they give to the inmates.
